QATIF PARK
The park, Springs of Serenity was designed with the intention of creating a safe and welcoming social space for children and women of all ages in Saudi Arabia, Qatif. The curvatures of the pathway and the soft elevation of .90 meters creates a fun and playful area, accessible by all The squared edge of the spring creates a clear zoning division from the rest of the park. Islamic mosaics was a strong influence and are an integral part of Arab roots and its harmonious and dynamic pattern included notions of center-subcenters, path and parameters in the geometric composition.
